I recently took a trip to Disney Springs, one of my favorite ways to get a free dose of Disney, and it was just as wonderful as it has been in the past. I went with my friend Caitlin and our first order of business was food. How can anyone enjoy a photo-day and a little shopping when they’ve got an aggressively empty stomach?! The answer is, I do not know.
Now, I’m not going to lie, a lot of the restaurants at Disney Springs are expensive. They’re good, don’t get me wrong, and the atmosphere/ambience is unbeatable, but you’re still paying $25 for a cheese burger. Not willing to break bank for some chicken tenders, I headed to one of their more inexpensive restaurants, Wolfgang Puck Express. I had never been here before, but I’m so glad I went! I got half a rotisserie chicken and mashed potatoes for less than $20. And it was delicious. I would 10/10 go again, but apparently Earl of Sandwich is to die for as well, so I’m going to give that a shot next time.
After lunch, it was time for wandering, shopping and pictures. I wanted to be comfortable on this day out because Disney Springs is massive and Florida is ridiculously hot. I opted for a breezy, denim dress by INC. I got this dress at Macy’s and I love how soft and loose it is. And the best part? It has POCKETS! I mean come on, a dress with pockets?! Swoon. I paired the dress with my favorite set of strappy sandals from Target (fun fact: I got these sandals after my shoe broke at work one day. Target: 1, Me: 0). I love the way a nice cognac brown goes with denim blue, it’s a classic.
For accessories, I decided to keep it simple and wear my everyday jewelry. I’m a massive gold person, I think it adds a touch of glamor to any outfit, so I’m usually equipped with my gold Michael Kors watch, my gold bracelets by Princess P Jewelry, and a gold ring. To round out the look, I went for my grey, slouchy Marc Jacobs purse that I got on sale at Tj-Maxx (I love a good bargain).
After browsing the stores (Uniqlo, Zara and Sephora are my faves), my friend and I ended the day with milkshakes from Ghirardelli. I got a vanilla thick shake for about $7 and it was to die for. SO GOOD! Overall, it was a very successful day at Disney Springs and I can’t wait to go back!
Thank you all for reading and I’ll catch you next time. Lots of love xx
